What size lift on 31s
#1
Just put a new set of 31s on my 03 f150 2wd, and was thinking of lifting at least 4 inches, I know it's pointless to lift a 2wd but I want to anyway, what do you guys think?

I wouldn't lift it unless you're going with bigger tires, the tires fit it pretty good as is

so you just got new tires that fill the wheel well and you now want to lift it so that you need bigger tires?
Best way to lift a 2wd is to do a spindle lift with rear blocks. Gets you 3" in the front and can vary on the rear (you can level it or keep the stock rake).

I've heard spacers will throw your angles off and wear out front suspension parts a lot quicker. I've also heard the ride is worse then a chuck wagon goin over rail road ties. Lol. I'd say just go with spindle lift keeps all front suspension angles happy. Just my 2 cents.
