Default What is this part: F75E-9C915-AA???

It's about time I joined this forum because it has been so helpful thus far. Here's a question I couldn't find an answer to though:

What is the part: F75E-9C915-AA?

It is located near the top right driver side of the engine compartment. I was replacing my spark plugs and cops yesterday and noticed a white tube going to this part was broken. It looks like it could be a vacuum tube, but I am not going to pretend like I know my way around my truck... yet. I can provide pictures if necessary.

Thanks,

Here is a picture of it and I am holding up the broken hose to where it should be attached.

I followed the hose and it comes from a group of three hoses which look like it runs back to the manifold.

So if its the EGR vacuum hose, then that might explain why my truck is still bucking after I just replaced all the spark plugs and boots?

Try pulling off the rubber 90 from the bottom of the solenoid. You can probably push the line back in, or splice it in with a piece of rubber hose.

Your part is the vacuum regulator solenoid I believe. the line is the vapor management valve vacuum line.

Thanks DirtBuster1, I will try hooking it back up tomorrow morning. So if my EGR valve is stuck closed, could this be why my truck is still bucking? I reset my codes after I changed the plugs so now I need to wait and see what shows up.

I have a very similar problem with my 1999 5.4L F150. Only I have a short white hose coming from the Evaporative Emission Control System Purge Control Valve (about 4" in Length) - obviously broken to this length. I can't figure out where it is suppose to connect to or the other mating (broken) piece? Anyone have any ideas?
