what muffler is better on a 4.2l???
is a flowmaster 40 or a 44 better sounding on a 4.2l

They're both gonna sound similar, the 44 might be a touch louder. I'd go with the 44 just because I think it will give you the deepest sound

I have a 44...buddy of mine has a 40. Mine sounds better
Both are 4.2s.

No muffler... 2 1/2 inch pipe and the longest 3 or 3 1/2 inch tips you can find.
