Default What muffler?

Well, this weekend I bit the bullet and gutted my plugged up catalytic converts (you could not see a led light through the filter), now she has a lot more get up and rumble. The growl it developed is an improvement but, like lift, it is just not enough. What muffler should I put on my truck to get a deep tone out of it? I am looking at a flowmaster super 10 atm but open to suggestions.

The louder the better!

Oh a 10 series will definitely give you volume. However it will drive you nuts after a while. Have you cut the stock muffler off yet?

Not yet, I am going to leave it on until I get the new one ordered. I am thinking of doing a single inlet dual outlet muffler

Try just cutting it off and see how you like it. It's free.

Will there be enough backpressure to keep it running? I ran it off the manifolds for a quick trip into town but it kept losing power. My friend is putting a super 10 on his Cherokee tonight I'll have a listen to his to get an idea. I like the sound of it when it was on just manifolds, the noise doesn't bother me as much as it bothers my neighbors haha, the cops around here are very "active" when it comes to loud exhaust and handing tickets around so running no muffler could end up costing more than the muffler would have

Yes the length of the pipe is what gives you back pressure
