What is this hose for?

Nothing special except the price...
I replaced the hose from the stealership on my 2003 F-150....But I cut the vacuum hose off of the old one and the only difference is that the old or original hose is molded to fit around some engine parts... Regular vacuum hose of the correct size can be slipped onto the green fitting and the other end slipped onto the manifold fitting just like a vacuum line which is the function of this line...
And my stealership only robbed me for 47.95 with tax...

Any ideas ? I say replace it. Might as well get it from the dealer. You could try a junk yard. If you can get the correct size "fuel/vapor" hose, you cut the old one off the white fitting and replace it that way. The white fitting itself is difficult to remove without the correct tool. You must use "fuel/vapor hose". Otherwise, any other hose will break down quickly and suck shut.
Dealer is the best option unless you can find one on e bay. With the correct hose you can bust the white fitting off of the existing. A dealers hose will snap into place.

My problem is not just the hose, but the connector as well. I want to replace the whole thing. When I changed out the EVAP Purge Valve, the white connector broke a little and it may be the cause of leak. So I'm looking to replace hose and connector. After lots of research, I have not been able to find a part number. I only find the fuel vapor separator hose and connector (hose with green connector).

I had a check engine light on my 2000. Thought it was the plastic tube on the rear of the intake manifold. Tube was fine, that hose was flaking apart.
Went to a local auto store and just bought a piece of the right size I.D. Hose for under $3.00. Pulled the battery cable overnight to reset the light, all is well.

The picture isnt showing up for me so i can tell for sure but im pretty sure i know exactly what hose your talking about. With that being said you can remove the green connector at the end of it and just a rubber hose that you can buy at any parts store to replace the broken hose with. If the hose does get a hole, it will cause a vacuum leak.

So bringing this thread back..
I looked at my hose, it’s still in pretty good shape but It isn’t original and doesn’t appear to be an OEM part.
It says SAE-30R7 on it. I’m not sure if the green connector is OEM either. Is this the right type of fuel line for it?

a one way valve. I broke the retaining ring removing it. It allowed air to flow either way, so I ordered a new one.
My truck had a little rough idle and gets 13 mpg, babying it. Anyone getting better? I'd think so.
The short hose with the white elbow is bad, too but I havent found a replacement yet.
