Hi I'm looking to order a new tailgate for my f150 4 door short bed super crew and when I go to a site such as parts train they do not list the super crew as a submodel. Is this model also considered a xlt?

You have the same tailgate as a flairside.

No sir. the xlt is a trim package. i think flareside is what your looking for.

The sub models on partstrain include the harley Davidison edition, xlt, xl, lariat, king ranch and the lightening

Well what is yours? Xlt is just a package like power windows locks etc.

Ah ok so the submodel shouldn't matter too much? I have power locks, windows, etc.

I just need a new primered tailgate shell and I think they run for like 165 dollars on partstrain. If any of you guys could link me the right tailgate for my supercrew that'd be great so I'm not ordering the wrong part.

No the trim model won't effect it at all. If you look on your badges on the fender it should say. And just look up flareside tailgates on that website. If someone else does it for you they are looking at the same thing you are.

Post up how wide your tailgate is and when i get out of the hospital ill check mine and we can compare hell they might even be the same damn width.
