Question What do you think of this lift kit?

Since I have to put in a transmission i figured might as well put a modest lift kit on the truck too. The suspension is tired and hasn't been touched since it left the factory. I found this set up online that adds 3 inchs to the front which and maybe an inch in the back.

The lift kit still uses the stock spring but im gonna replace the springs with a new set which will probably give it a half inch to a 1inch lift from where it is currently sitting at. In my estimate the front will be 4 inches higher and the rear will be one inch higher and the truck will appear to be about 2 inches higher overall than it was stock. I dont want it too big cause i like my stock tyres and gas mileage and when i feel like hitting the trail i can slap on the 35's for the weekend and have a blast.

I wanna know if this a good route to go? Is it gonna get squeaky, like some lift kits do? Will it be a nice enjoyable ride or should I stock up on painkillers now? Should i slap on the steering stabilizer? Any suggestions?

Take a looky

Use the RC lift and make sure the front springs are stock replacements and you will be sitting pretty. I have the stabilizer and it works really well. I'm not sure I would spend the money on those jdm uppers. I think I would just go with moogs.

No problem. You will retain your stock ride by doing the RC lift as well.

Be careful with the RC U-bolts, a lot of people here have had issues with them. I myself couldn't get them to stop stretching so I just replaced them. Other than that it looks to be a solid set up.

That RC states it's a "3 inch lift". If it's utilizing the stock springs how is it lifting?
