Lol, yea but, if you can get that down to the primer with a blade and blow gun, save a lot of time. The primer is good, base coat adhesion was bad. Plus it's cool seeing the wife lending a hand iduno lol.

He did a lot of work for the 2500 that I paid him. He really did a good job.

Brew and White, I just don't see how ford managed to keep the same adhesion problem for such a long stretch and for it to have been bad enough to remove with a razor blade. On my 89 b2 I broke out the pressure in high school to knock some mud off and the paint started coming too. Last time it wasn't hand washed.

That install actually isn't too bad. That's the kit you cut in the box behind the glove box. I just did this back in May on mine. Also replaced the blend door motor while I was in there.

BTW.... I started out cutting with a Dremel, but after 3 or 4 broken wheels, I switched to this. It cut through like butter, and no flying pieces, LOL.

I have a cordless Craftsman tool like this. I don't use it often (or much at all, really) but it's the perfect tool for some projects like this (and cutting the dash for a double-DIN head unit)

oh sh*t I didnt know thats what this tool did. I was planning on using a hot knife but ill use any excuse to expand my ryobi tool collection 😜
