What other colors lift? I know some show the spider cracks in the paint. Regardless oxford white is horrible about lifting

Do you mean like this?

Full disclosure, I have no idea if this is the original paint, as I got the hood used, but believe it is. Cracks are better than the hail dents in the original one.

Yes, yes it was! Gray's and maroon's were common around here too. This was the (YZ) Stang before I painted it.

Sooooo much better now

Yep. That looks like the factory spider cracking I was referring to!

Wow, that looks so much better. I didnt realize the paint was ever that bad on it. I know the Wimbledon white on my bronco isnt too great either.

The only color I haven't seen it separate from the primer on is black and less common color brown. Blue and green most definitely. Strange though, they had these problems off and on with the painting process or mix...with the earlier gens as well.

Yeah, it got pretty ugly for a couple years before I painted it. The guy I had paint it told me that doing absolutely nothing to it actually helped them. Him and his Wife literally scraped the paint off with a razor blade on the entire car. I'll have to see if I can find the picture I took of his Wife scraping it off.

Found it!
