Yesterday was "Remove The Crusty Nerf Bars" day and refit the exhaust from the y-pipe back. The intermediate pipe right after the end of the Y rotted apart. What a mess. The rockers and cab corners are looking bad along with some spots on the rear of the bed corners. Such a mess under there.

The trans-support mount is next I think. Then into rocker-land...

Took out the stock 9007 bulbs and popped in some Sylvania UltraVision 9007's.

I bought a parts vehicle for my track car and towed it home with the F150. The truck never skipped a beat while towing ~6,000lbs over 300 miles through the Appalachian mountains. I love this truck!

Finished the sanding, primer, base and clear coat. Just need to final wet sand and polish. No where near perfect but at least the rust is gone. This is a whole lot more area than I thought it would be and a lot to spray with rattle cans! On the passenger side on the outside of the caulking as it curves down toward the body, my tape took some paint off so I will have to fix that next. 🙄

Looks fine to me! Just like the hail dents in my roof: Who's gonna see it but me, and then only if I'm on a step stool or standing in the bed!

Yes the factory Oxford White (YZ) starts to lift from the primer coat after awhile. Eventually every YZ 10th gen shows signs. Hood, roof, and tailgate are typically the first places to see it.
