What did you do to your 10th gen today?
GO SOX!
I won't deny it. 99.99% of the time, I'll go function over form. This, however, I made an exception. Simply due to the design being different and unique with what you see today. I know a lot of people question my actions. I can't blame them. I, however, wanted a period and model correct nav system that would work as it was intended to. That's just me in this particular case. I won't blame you for questioning my actions or thoughts.
I'm *NOT* Skylar...

Replaced my battery today.
The one that I took out I got when I started working on the truck trying to get it running.
It is a little over 4 years old, and 4 years is about what I usually get out of them.
It sits at ~12.3 v in the morning before I start it, and drops to ~9.8 - 9.9 v when cranking, so it is still within spec, but I am doing some long distance traveling with the family in the next few weeks, so don't want to have to worry about it.
May try to sell the old one on craigslist for $30 or so since it is still "good", if not, I will just return it for the core.

I went with a 10 year battery in the truck last time, it's coming up on year 8. They have gone 12 years confirmed. Well one has anyway from another member who's posts I trust lol.
But yea they cost a little bit and it's not worth the price for most who don't know if they will be keeping the truck that long. Think I paid a little over 200 for that battery. Probably the cheapest really good battery you can buy. It's was the Sears Diehard Platinum but they don't make them anymore. You have to go to Odyssey directly to get them now, or -

Other than that, your pretty much limited to the cheaper Johnson controls batteries who makes all the cheaper units now a days at more than half the cost. They are good enough for most...something like an Interstate bat or what not.

Well it's FINALLY started. The powder process has finally begun. Really in love with this color. Tomorrow the truck gets torn down to anything I can get off. Attachment 481522
