My Fx4 wheels are badly chowdered up from the previous owner. I'm too cheap to have them done professionally; are there any guides or best practices for refinishing them DIY style?

Lightly sand them you can do different grits depending how bad they are. Don't go too coarse, remember they're aluminum. I wouldn't go any coarser than probably 250 or 300 grit. Maybe start with 400 if you'd like, or 600 if they aren't too bad. Then clean them really well. If you get them to a finish you're happy with, you can respray new clear coat over them to keep them from oxidizing and help protect them.

I'm sure others will chime in with other tips and ideas.

I had previously mounted my fire extinguisher on the floor just in front of the driver's seat (perfect location, by the way), but it interfered with the tall edges of the new Rugged Ridge mats.

So.....

Did you use your original factory hat?
I believe when I put my single 255 in ,I saw the extra pin for 2nd pump. Was curious if thats how yours was.
