There is a lot fooey that gets spread around this forum (most forums) from people who use assertiveness to sound like they know what their talking about. Then it's compounded by people who regurgitate "fact" in first person what they really only heard second hand.
Not that everything is false, just a lot of it.

Not sure if you were talking about the filter, but it's from personal use. Completely cleaned mine, and oiled it inside and out. Let it all dry, and put it in. No SES light, and that was at about 155,000 miles. I'm at 178,000 now. The mileage service interval info was taken right from the K&N filter recharge kit. With all that in mind, I'm fairly confident that what I said has some truth to it.

I used a foam/sponge brush to paint which is why i think the finish came out terrible. I have some bristle brushes so i might try those tomorrow. Most of the stuff I wanna paint is big so I'm using a roller anyway. I'm painting my entire frame. Before and after pics to come.
