Cab corners are bad enough, but I have to replace them on both sides anyway because they part of the rockers with this truck. I think they'll reach up to good metal in my case...hope so! Just noticed the front drivers side corner of the bed (behind the cab) is rusted thru in some spots. I've some good metal left in my old lower bed panels I can use for that.

They sell two types of door skins in case your not aware. There's lower outside and lower inside. You would think they were the same...nope.

EDIT: as far as the hood, I see the Cervinis hoods have been somewhat copied. That's the one I'm after, The Cervinis Ram Air hood, -
Sounds like we have similar issues. I undercoated and sprayed with rust converter about a year and a half ago. After that all the rust started-from the inside out.
When you talk about door skins, you mean the front doors correct?
I'm not a huge scoop fan on our trucks but the cervinis is right on the borderline for me

My doors are savable. I may have to patch the bottoms in some places, that's fairly easy.

Your rockers don't look that bad yet, you have some spot welds popping I see. Yea, all mine popped on the drivers and the rocker eventually fell out. The bottom anyway. These things usually rust from the inside out. By the time you see it on the outside, well...the inside is most unpleasant lol.

Passenger side I did a quick fix years ago. It has part of a Kenmore cloths washer in that rocker.

I debated on cutting and riveting in flat steel as a cheap fix for now but...
I will no longer patch pieces. 6 months later, the rest is bubbling along the seams and it will make it all feel like a waste of time.
Full rockers, bedsides, and maybe new rear doors. I can get all those for about $1000.
The besides are just bolted and have pinch welds right?

Both of mine are flawless on the outside, passenger side is flawless on the inside, driver side has very minor surface rust on the inside. I want to spray something in there to make sure it never goes any farther than surface rust. And the fact that the foam drain plug thing is messed up and doesn't seal right doesn't help. So I need to seal the drain hole with something to replace the messed up drain plug.

Yeah, I just wanted something to replace the 13 yr old shocks without spending a ton of money, and everything I have read about the Monroe Magnums has been pretty good. Nothing spectacular, but a good OEM equivalent replacement, plus has a lifetime warranty.
