I did a couple light coats just read the directions on how soon do do the next coat and if you want to clear it make sure its completely dry or itll run

Idk if you have to but I did I wet sanded it with a really fine grit (idk the number) before the clear

Altenator when out today on my way to my gfs house with her lil brother, truck drove bad an finally died but made it 100ft from her house before it coasted to a stop was 9:30 an puttin on an altenator in the dark lol.
