What did you do to your 10th gen today?
Do they make aftermarket grilles like yours? I thought I remember reading that you made it yourself. I want oneeee.

Got my gear oil in Saturday and had the day off today.
Got the diff drained and cleaned up, got the cover back on and then it started pouring rain, so my truck is still sitting on the ramps.
Once it quits raining, I will get the diff filled.

I didn't think the friction modifier was necessary with synthetic fluid?

It is not "required", but is highly recomended.
I also have been having some chattering when turning at low speed. I see many say to add 2 bottles of Friction Modifier to keep it from chattering, so I figured 1 bottle of FM with the Synthetic fluid should stop the chatter.
It was only $5 on Amazon anyway, so $41 total for 3 bottles of gear oil and 1 bottle of FM was not a bad deal IMO.
This is my first time using any Lucas product, but I have heard a lot of good things about them, and it was the cheapest synthetic gear oil on Amazon (even cheaper than Super Tech from Walmart).
If you don't have a limited slip, you definitely don't need any Friction modifier though.
Still waiting for it to stop raining so I can add the fluid and finish.

Well it stopped raining so I went to fill it up.
What mess. I had some tubing that I was going to use to fill it. Got 1 end in the diff and the other one on the bottle. Squeeze the bottle, and man I forgot how thick 75w-145 is, even though it had been sitting in the sun and was warm. I was squeezing the bottle pretty hard and pop, the tube came off the bottle and gear oil went all over my tire and rim (and me!). Crap. What a mess.
I ended up just crawling under and putting it directly in the diff. A little more of a pain, but easier to squeeze the bottle.
And another thing, the Motorcraft Friction Modifier stinks something horrible. I mean gear oil stinks, but this stuff is just horrible. I mean gross. I deal with all kinds of body smells all day at work and this is worse than any of them. And it won't wash off. I think I am going to have to throw away my shirt and rag that got some on it. I showered and soaped up 3 times and I still smell of it.
And an ironic thing, I went for a test drive, turned around in intersections a few times and such. Well, road was still wet so I figured I would do a quick tire spin to see how it did (have not done one in years). So I get on a road with no houses and do a burn out, and as I get to the intersection, constable is pulling up to the corner. He follows me to my house and asks me how its going. I explain what I was doing and he laughs and tells me have a nice day.
I also noticed that the pinion is leaking some, so I need to look into that. How hard is that to replace?
Edit: a quick pic, my Limited slip is working.
