It's crazy how that works. They just gradually get louder at a rate we cant detect. Problem now is that I can hear a bearing in my rear end wanting to have a voice. Lol

Well the calipers and flex lines went great....thought it was the easiest job for a good while.....but now bleeding the brakes is a royal pain. Had to give up for the night with the truck not fit to use. Might have to use vice grips on one rear bleed nipple, too stripped out to get a socket on it.

something never fails to **** you off with mechanical work.....

Yep, and I now hear something rattling in the front suspension left side (at least that's what it sounds like). Hoping it's the upper ball joint since I plant to replace the control arms anyway. As nfldfordman says: It's always something!

I was hoping the same with mine. It turned into an entirely new front end.

Debated what to do about the front bumper situation. Thought about making some brackets and putting the stock bumper back on but after numerous mock ups I have a plan! No to put into action ha ha.

Yesterday I realized that the original stock muffler on my 2001 has somewhat split /rust at the seam on the side.

I'm not quit ready to get a new exhaust, so I furnace cemented up the seam this evening after work. Tomorrow I'll throw some exhaust wrap on top of that for a temp. fix till I get a new one.

Lol, - that stuff actually works for that. Watched a guy fix a leaky manifold on one these trucks with that stuff. Worked unbelievably well. However, I'm not sure how long it will last there. I can see it working a good long time on a muffler lol.
