Routine Maintenance
Six quarts of Castrol, Purolator filter. Washed.
Poor old girl only gets a couple thousand miles per year now. Thinking I might treat her to a new rear bumper.

Washed her up and drove it for the last time for a few months while I rip apart the rear end from the transmission back. If it comes off it's going in the powder oven like the front. This should be a bit easier. Fewer parts just larger. Stay tuned for the reveal next show season changing up the whole thing!!

Rear Springs
Rear spring shackles were getting a bit rusty. I figured while I was under there I might as well replace the springs and all the nuts, bolts, bushings, etc.
I'm still fighting with the right rear mounting bolt. I got the nut off of it, but the bolt does not respond to any amount of PB, heat, torque, or brute force.
Will replace the spare tire winch while I'm at it.
A little rust after 21 years.

We always changed the hangers at the same time......
That bolt gets seized in the steel sleeve inside the bushing and is near impossible to get out.
