What did you do to your 10th gen today?
Replaced stock sway bar links with MOOG parts. Easy job. Bolts were different sizes than stock. I wished I would have taken a picture of the old ones (what was left anyway). Sounds much better going down the road. No more clunking
GO SOX!
Did this a couple years ago on mine. My stocks were basically just bolts running through. The bushings on both were completely gone.
03 Flareside last year with aftermarket running boards, rear sliding back glass and 255/70/16 tires. The cheap boards where starting to rust badly even though we don't have rust issues in our region.
This year with factory running boards, solid back glass and 265/70/17 tires and expy wheels. Currently at 209K. Bought the wheels back in Oct 2016.
Our family's 10th Gen fleet. We currently have 5 in the household with 4 drivers. The Flare is our college students commuter. The 02 Sport (4.2 currently at 244K) is my DD and received a new clutch & hydraulics this March, new shocks & windshield during April. The 02 FX4 (234K) is backup / winter driver. Parts for Expy brake upgrade are in transit for the FX4. 03 Crew is spouse's DD (171K).
I cringe every time mail arrives from the insurance company.
Got sick of having to put back to black on the hood cowl.... spent A LOT of time on this unit. Actually scored this cowl for free as a test Incase it didn't work out. Sanded all the way down, brought back up with PPG through my paint gun. Sanded & buffed back down and finished off with a final polish. Didn't think I'd be able to make a mirror out of the textured plastic but here we are!
