There is a thread I started a while back called mounting a winch, where I asked about doing this. I went back and did a write up on how I did it and what I used in there.

I am not sure what you mean by specs. on the truck or on the winch and mount?

Interesting. I'll have to try and clean them up and look for a part number or brand.
I know this truck isn't on its original suspension. So I'll have to see if it's still on all Ford parts (which I thought it was) or if these are aftermarket.

I meant specs as far as winch and mount. I'll have to look up your thread. I just haven't seen a hidden winch that was centered on a 10th gen. Your truck definitely gives me an option other than a complete replacement bumper.

its a badlands universal mount with some modification done and a smittybilt 9500xrc

I can't for the life of me find when they were installed, I know exactly what shocks your talking about. Over the years I've seen hundreds of them come through the junkyard on literally bone stock trucks so either everyone was upgrading just rear shocks back then or they were a factory option. I want to say that were only installed on the 8.8 rear ends, I'm willing to bet you have the 8.8?

It wasn't today, but I did take her camping Saturday. Also had the A/C blow a seal on me, sooooo... that a pending repair.
