The real question must be asked: How does the fresh engine feel?

Thru a code in April, the lean bank one thing. No vacum leaks so off to my man. Rusted falling off manifolds were leaking so bad the O2 sensors had nothing to read. $220+ fron Amazon and he replaced them.
So quite I can hear the radio, lol. He only broke three studs in the process.
Now get this, $500 to do it. Man is great.

You can buy the filter with the tab and all, you just need to cut the hole for it, Rectangular hole under the passenger side of the dash, and the filter fits right in. Probably going to have to do some extra trimming. It won't be a perfect seal, but you really won't notice any difference. There IS a kit for it with brackets and all...

But as most things like this for the truck, its near impossible to find the kit. Discontinued.

My son told me the driver side headlight is out- so I find Sylvania 9007 replacements to pop in. Never had to do it since I got it.
Popped out the old bulbs- one said Oct 2000, other Jull 2001- could these be original? If so (and they looked original!) this says something for either Ford or Sylvania or both. Replaced with same Sylvania 9007 everyday driver bulbs.
I can't count how many I've replaced on a mazda, buick, lexus, etc. with OEM bulbs.

It feels AWESOME!!! Now if I can just get some exhaust thrown on!

Also, I figured out the A/C. The goobers didn't plug my A/C compressor back up. I looked to see if the clutch was engaging and it wasn't. So, naturally I went to check and see if there was voltage getting to the compressor and it wasn't even plugged in! SMDH!

That really makes me want to find an engine to build. At least it was an easy fix. So much better than going through the hassle if it were a real problem.

What percentage of your time washing this truck is just washing all the beauty underneath it?
