I see what you mean. Not sure what you can do about that. Yea I was thinking you had the vertical problem closer to the bracket, but it looks to be further up. Also, the way the hood appears from straight on doesn't look perfect...mannn, brings back memory's lol.

Well, at least you know it isn't unusual...I went through the same crap with mine. I thought I bent the brackets somehow, but there was really no way. I heard if you remove the cylinders first by the hinge latch assembly, then over extend that assembly backward (open the hood too much), you can bend just the assembly (hinged bracketry) out of shape. Well, just something to drive you nuts ehhh lol.

Also the right (passenger side) side front fender /hood spacing looks off. THAT I remember well! Mine did the exact same and right where yours is. Do you still have the adjustable bump stops in place ? They have been known to fall out or harden. Adjusting those can change how it looks when closed. Might be able to manipulate the vertical reveal that way from the side, but then you have to watch hood gap. Before you know it, your re-adjusting the entire front clip lol. Yup PITA !

Found them on Ebay. They're a bit pricey but much cleaner than the originals IMO.

Nice! I painted my back window bezel yesterday too!
Interesting cross beams in your bed. I know you've probably been asked this before, but what's the purpose of those things?

Painted 2x4's creates small compartments for supplies and also can lay plywood and sheet rock flat instead on an angle over the wheel well.
