I might of missed it, but did you use a alternate leather material or is it pretty much the same as original ?
We sell a King Ranch leather treatment here at the dealership where i work. it works pretty good but pretty sure it wont fix the tears.......

According to my guy at the dealership, they do make a treatment to put on them but all it does is slow the breakdown. There is also an oil that you can put on them to keep them soft. I really didn’t want to go through all of that on a regular basis. I went with a standard car leather. It’s really nice. The guys at lseat.com did a killer job on these.

Leather is like our own skin. It needs moisture (and proper cleaning), or it will deteriorate. Since leather is no longer alive, it can't produce its own, so it's up to us to provide it. If you want your new (and I assume not inexpensive) seat covers you last, I'd suggest you consider a saddle soap and mink oil regimen or use Lexol cleaner and conditioner products.

Replaced the battery after it shorted out. Weird, would only short out under load.

I started the old beast today. Man I can't wait to get this thing back on the road. At least it's safe from the elements until spring. What did you do to your 10th gen today?-photo993.jpg

Sigh not today but the other day I noticed someone finally kicked thru the Rust on the passenger side rocker. Bout a 4" Long 1/4" wide slit... added to the half dollar size hole on the bottom of the rocker and silver dollar sized Rust bubble on the driver rear door.
