I'm doing some clean up on the truck today. Also, deciding what's next for the truck while I'm messing with it. I've been considering a New F150 2door shortbed instead of a new S550.

I still love my truck but I see just endless Maintenance and this Motors not going to last forever. Now that the Coyote swaps are getting so cheaper I'm wondering if that would be worth it.

Today's list:
Connect the Fan Thermo on wire to the fuse box directly
Burp the Coolant
New Air Filter
New Trans Filter
Touch up the Frame Paint since it's been about a year

and finally try to find exactly where the Passenger side oil leak is coming from. It's been one of those things where I just assume it's either the head gasket or the rear oil passage plug on the back of the head. Supposedly my engine was from an 04 but I never thought that was very likely. Every time I've looked for where the oil was coming from I gave up, lol.

Oil is all over the Starter and Cat but not under manifold at the Head gasket. I've already replaced the Cam cover gasket last year but it never fixed the issue.

I got a hold of a micro brew Dunkel up here in Huntington WV last night. Now that was a good beer.

Have you thought about boxing off the fender wells or maybe getting fancy and making it a curve cover? That way it's solid carpet everywhere?

Either way it's looking good man

I thought the same thing. It looks really good, the lined wells don't look bad at all, it just looks unfinished.

Interesting idea, curious how it will turn out.

Do you plan on doing anything with the tailgate?

Yep. I have the rubber mat on there now, going to reuse the screws and holes and just do a thin carpeted sheet there.
