I was going to be nice and not say anything, but since you did...

I know by '06 they had a lot of the issues figured out, and hopefully the problems in this truck have already been addressed.
If this truck has been/is/will be tuned, the head bolts need to be replaced. I know the injectors on these were a problem as well.

I bought it needing somethings. It's bone stock. Still had a egr cooler. Recently replaced hpop, oil cooler, up pipes, an did a full egr delete. It has the original injectors. I will be replacing them when I do studs.

I still have my 2004 and it's a pain in the *** most days lol! Two torque converters, two sets of injectors 500 miles apart, egr left it on the side of the road, new pcm, and now it's got an oil leak coming from somewhere and it still can't pull a load up a hill without falling on it's face.

Since I had padding on the 99's door panels, I thought "what the heck?" and doubled up the '03. Haven't driven the truck yet, but we'll see if there's any improvement. Since the doors are already fully deadened the with foil-faced butyl (both inside and outside surfaces), there may not be a dramatic difference, but for free and 15 minutes per side, it sure can't hurt.

Now, I don't recall if there's the same material in the back doors.....

EDIT: Yes, there is.

Default So today.......

I finally installed my first official part off of a Lightning/Harley Davidson.
The instrument Cluster was almost plug and play.
The only thing I did was have SCT send me a flash file to deactivate the Pats system. All works fine but the security light flashes. Truck starts and runs so I'm just gonna remove the security light bulb. The 130 mph speedo and tach were both reading correct.

Next project is installing the dual electric fans.

That looks good! If there was a good way to retrofit an LCD odometer module, that would finish it out nicely.

Ordered 22x14' RBP Glocks, can't decide on a tire yet. Will have to wait a few weeks but I'm thinking an AT this time, possibly a 37x13.50 Toyo AT. Keeping my 3" adapters for a total of -150ish offset. Going to be very wide...and kind of sketchy... but this truck is just about to the point of being trailered to shows. Definitely wouldn't do this to a DD. What did you do to your 10th gen today?-photo884.jpg

These are not welds or fuel forged
