Right now it's great, but it also has 2k on it... I can't imagine keeping it up 10 years from now though.

I can't vouch for the longevity of any of the treatments - it just looks good on Day 1. I plan to monitor the degradation, note the Duration, re-polish and re-treat, then try re-treating again at Duration divided by two (to possibly avoid the polishing step). I figure the kit includes enough treatment to last me a good long time.

Default Differential Fluid

A couple of quarts of Valvoline synthetic, plus some friction modifier and a new Fel-Pro gasket. Looked better than the black goo that came out.

I will probably have to bite the bullet and plan on new shocks soon. I am pretty sure the ones on there came with the truck 20 years and 225,000 miles ago.

I can't say I blame you at all. Lol

I probably wouldn't be able to sleep until I bolted it all together.

BUG SPRAY!!

I decided to try this on the wife's Escape. We're planning to get rid of it for something else this year, so I thought "What have I got to lose?"

Who'd a thunk?
