I'm glad I have leather cause I have left it open quite a few times and it rained overnight
I feel like it creates a weird vacuum when you have the front windows open and the slider open. Anything that can blow around in the bed will be sucked right into the cab lol! But that's on my obs I'm not sure if these trucks do the same thing.

I'm seriously missing driving my truck.
I'm 6'3 and have to stretch out to reach the slider in my crew cab obs but I always drive with it open.

There was no adhesive on mine. It was a friction fit, kind of like door edge moulding, but a ridge on the back of the surround aided in holding it on.

I use my slider all the time and man I wish I had the electric slider!

Make sure you don't buy the emblem that was actually on the tailgate. It's made for the indention in the tailgate and doesn't fit well at all on our trucks, the fender badge fits 1000 times better.

Well, I didn't realize there's a difference. Too late now. They're on their way.
Guess I'll find out when they get here.

EDIT:
Yep, I screwed up. Just looked at the pics more closely, and see the "curve" on the top and bottom edge.
Guess they''ll be going right back on eBay.

EDIT2: If I don't plan on painting them, the only option is the 2013 "Limited" badges, and they're $50+ a pop. ... so here's another for good measure.

EDIT3: In case anyone's interested, the "Limited" badges are DL3Z-16720-A and DL3Z-16720-B.

They work with enough patients, but I know your a guy for it being right. Test fit the fender badge back there and you'll see. No biggy!

I don't know about the 10th gens because I never got around to changing mine but I like the looks of the 13th gen badges on my 11th gen. The 13th badges did need slight modification by removing the clips from the back but that was 30 seconds with a Dremel tool. And they are cheap too!

I was able to cancel one of the three (the cheapest one, of course), so I still have two coming. I'll look closely at them, but unless you can take a belt sander to the back to get rid of that cut-out/bend, I don't think they'll work. I'll be able to see next week.

Thanks for the heads up.

Andy
