Looks great!

Question: Where did you get your Ford ovals, and are they decal overlays, or resin-covered emblems?

Thanks,

Andy

/edit... nevermind... a search found the threads referencing the teflon grease. Thanks again.
No problem. Glad to help

Thanks man! Really loving how clean it's turning out. Gonna be better with the new retro painted two tone to match! And yes, I made sure he got the correct red that matched the truck.

This thing turned our so much better than I could've ever expected. Even as a salvage truck, she's way too nice to give up.

Overlays. People who have done business with Blake Langford (Moody Blue) will agree when I say that he does some fantastic work. I sent him a piece of painted trim for the truck, and he used that to match the base color.

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind, but I'd rather not go the decal route. I've found someone who will make the resin-poured (domed) emblems to replace the blue-oval portion of the factory pieces, but they don't have the DSG metallic for the background. They do have a dark gray they've used for other customers, and from the pics I've seen, it looks good. If I go that route, I'd likely have them make me some center caps, too.

^ Weird on how you post that, Today I made front and rear emblems and "raptor" style grille lights. Need to clean the wiring up, just closed the hood to get a kick snap.

Youre welcome! That should be plenty strong to hold up for a while.
