Auto car washes, and Virginia weather. It's part of the reason I elected to keep and fix up this truck rather that spend $60k on a new one. I only paid $4500 for it 2 years ago.

Seems like a worthy truck. ..despite all my bitching about it.

Hey I didn't know you were a fellow Virginian! Haha. I think my trucks underside is about as clean as that, maybe not quite as clean, but I think you have me beat. I'm just glad my truck has no bad rust at all minus the little cancer in a small spot on two of my doors on the bottom lip where the door drains are.

It helps that they don't use salt down here. My wifes 6 year old Jeep came from Michigan and it's covered in rust.
