Pulled the gas tank off his old F-150 4X4 which was destroyed Dec. 26th by an infamous F-150 engine fire (he only had the truck 2 months). Unknown if the recall had been performed on the cruise control. Tank looks great. Looks like it may have been replaced. Going to clean it up tomorrow and go to the dealership and pick up new tanks straps.

While the bed is off we are going to replace the brake line from the ABS to the rear axle. Also will check to see if anything else needs replaced.
I bought my tank from Ebay for like 160 new and the straps from carquest for like 50 I think

I would love to have the red short bed version of your truck, one of my favorite F150 styles, just looks tough.
