Default what decides if you do possi or not

Does it have to do with the gears in the back or is it the computer because really want possi

It's all in the gears. But if you don't know what posi traction involves, I would get a shop to do it for you. And if you are getting rear posi, you might want to look into a locking differential for the front, so you can get real time four wheel drive.

No I haul **** and put my poles and deer I shot but when I do a burnout I want to look good doing it

posi is a gmc term for limited slip, meaning you wont do burnouts cause the power will be sent to the wheel not slipping

Wow! I remember when I was 16! Just go ahead and weld them spiders together, not like it's gonna last long with all them badass burnouts anyway.
