What is this?
Hello all. I just bought a beater that will be my daily driver that I’d like to start fixing up, 2002 F150 Lariat 4x4. I’ve only tinkered. I changed out the plugs last night and found something on the valve cover and I don’t know what it is. It looks like something should be connected to it, like a vacuum line. It’s above cylinders 7/8. Can anyone tell me what it is and/or if something is missing?

also what brand plug did you put in? If it wasn't motorcraft you'll be in there again sooner or later
