Hi guys, I have a weird issue, maybe you can help.

All of a sudden the driver side window wouldn't go down. I thought maybe a relay. I can hear it click AND feel it click in the relay, but no widow going down. So I bought a new relay. Same issue hear and feel a click in the relay when trying to roll window down, still not going down. So I'm guessing not a relay issue.

This morning, the widow rolls down, with the clicking in the relay! What the heck is going on??

I rolled it back up and left it. I'd rather have an up window that doesn't work than a down one, lol.
I swear the windows are all funky because of an aftermarket stero system the previous owner put it. Amps and woofers and fuses everywhere.

I wish I had a stock radio and good ole fashioned roll up windows

Probably the GEM. Every once in a great while mine will do the same. I just disconnect the battery for about 10 minutes and everything is back to normal. It hasn't done that for quite awhile.

I just watched a youtube video on the GEM replacement. Does not look like a fun way to spend a Saturday

I would try what I did first, -if it's just the window. See if your 4WD is working, if you have a 4x4.
