Default Weatherstripping for 2003 power sliding window

I'm looking for a parts source and a possible a parts breakdown for a rear sliding window, 2003 F-150.

When I checked with my local Ford dealership they said that the parts were no longer available, just the entire window, I'm looking for the vertical weatherstripping for both sides of the slider.

Any help or possible work-around would be appreciated.

When I replaced mine I found that out the hard way. You can’t service that weather strip to my knowledge... just have to buy a whole new window. Mine was during repairs for something else so I didn’t have to pay for it but it was annoying having to get a new window

Edit* I’m talking about the weatherstripping that goes around the slider window not the whole window

It's expensive but available still.

Thank you. This part appears to be for a 2004+ F150, I wonder how much the sliding window differs and if I could make it work?

Yeah... I don't think that will work, 2fords. They are quite a bit different.

Can you show me an exact picture of which piece you are looking for?

You are right. Last night when I put in the original F65Z-AA number this is what came back as the replacement. That was at 330 in the morning. I didn't follow the link, just went with the number substitution.

After being awake this morning, the F65Z original number is truly discontinued. I tried the Ford outsourcing sites, and NO ONE showed this part in stock anywhere. Of course some dealer might have one tucked away, but nothing is coming up. I had my parts buddy run the Ford number, and showed NO dealers with it on the locator.

Sorry if I got your hopes up. I can usually find a Ford part if it's available, but this one seems to be MIA.

I’ll try to post a picture tomorrow but the piece I need is missing so I’m not real sure what it looks like. If you’re standing in the back of the truck it would be the vertical weatherstrip that seals the left side of the slider window. Right now there’s about an 1/8” gap between those two pieces of glass. I have good old duct tape sealing any water out.

Thanks for your help.

Sounds like this is the piece he is needing. It’s what ripped on mine. What the window slides over to seal up the vertical end

I believe that it is 3M which makes a felt lined roll of strip that would work for the vertical seal. I believe the OP could do a repair this way, but could probably use the 04 and up seals and cut them to fit the window in our GEN 10's. Other than that, it is window replacement. +
