Just so you guys know that outer plastic trim piece has nothing to do with anything, it is just cosmetic. If yours is broken you do need to replace it when the window is out. Like was said earlier there are 12 bolts attached to the window frame that hold the window in. Remove the interior pieces take off the 12 nuts and push the window out, you can pry around the edge with a small pry bar to help get it out. Clean the old sealant on the window and the metal where it seats. Go to oriellys get 3m window weld, it comes in a caulk tube or you can get 3m butyl tape and put it on the window. Make sure you do this in hot weather so the sealant seals well, go inside put all the nuts on and tighten them criss crossing to apply even pressure. Put interior back in. Done
If your outside plastic piece is not broken and being replaced you do not need to touch it.
THE END
Nice truck by the way luvf150.
