Want that Custom but Stock look
So, I have an 03 F150 King Ranch Texas Edition (dont really know what the Texas Edition really is) with 4 Captians Chairs, keypad entry, black bed cover, and a newly added custom pin stripe, two tone paint White with Tan bottom.
(Pics soon, promise)
Anyways, I want to make it "mine" by doing some customization but I also want to keep that stock look, its clean!
Right now my plans are...
-Spyder Dual Halo CCFL Chrome Projector Headlights
-Spyder Altezza Tail Lights Chrome
-Spyder Halo Fog Lights
-Chrome Accents (Door/Tailgate handles, Mirrors, and the strips between the front and rear doors)
-Billite Grille
-Two 12" Kicker Solo Barics in a custom box in the back that replaces the rear console, one speaker facinf forward one facing down. (kinda like this http://www.f150online.com/forums/par...e-sub-box.html)
-Complete sound system over haul.
Anyways...looking for more ideas, help with my ideas, anything you may think that will look good but not take too much away from the stock look.

Texas edition usually has more chrome and is an optional chrome package on the standard King Ranch Edt, I don't know why. Kinda how the Dodge Lonestar Edition is the Big Horn with more chrome accents. I'd say either a dual exhaust or a cowboy exhaust would help make it yours. Maybe a wheel/tire combo (Rockstars seem to be pretty popular here). Sub wise, twin 10's handle a Mega Cab well. My buddy has twin 10's in his straight piped Duramax with the stack exiting right behind the subs and it easily take your breath away when the bass hits. For your style, maybe a bull bar.

I have been thinking exhaust, i want something that is a "truck" sound but not overly agressive because I want to keep the clean look and an overly agressive sound would take away from that, know what i'm saying? I have been thinking wheel/tires but there are soooooo many options and I do kinda like the ones on it. I know, i hear everyone saying 10's so I can only imagine my 12's.
What is a cowboy exhaust? If I do exhaust i'm thinking duals stright out the back.

Usually the Texas Editions are loaded with chrome here. Cowboy means the tips exit at the corners at an angle. Really nice if you off road because your less likely to crush the tips coming off a ledge (been there, done that). I'd say a Flowmaster 50 series or 10 series. Don't know much about the magnaflow mufflers. Personally, I don't think it's worth doing duals unless you pipe true duals (the manifolds don't Y back into a single tube before going to the muffler, mufflers are traditionally independent) but that can get really loud. So a single in dual out muffler would probably work well for you. I'd say stainless tips to help the look. Youtube your engine and exhaust to hear what they sound like. As far as chrome accents go, check out LMC (www.lmctruck.com) and browse through an online catalog.

But yeah, im not looking for performance out of the exhaust, just look and a little sound so not true duals is fine, just one in 2 out is all im looking for, o yeah chrome tips! Prob just stright out the back, i'm not taking my new baby off roading that hard...thats what my 87' K5 Blazer is for...when I buy me a new one...I miss my baby!!!
I'll check out that site, my main problem with deciding on the accents is i cant seem to find any pics of white trucks with them all on there, door handles, mirrors and door studs.

They still make the Texas Edition. They are only sold new in Texas though. Meaning your truck was sold new by a Texas dealer, and then taken elsewhere in the country and resold.
