Very Very Very Strange...
Last night I was at a bonfire near some high voltage power lines, we all parked our trucks under the lines and had the fire in a pit off in the woods. When I got back to my truck I touched the door and realized there was an electric current running through it and upon further investigation I realized that touching any metal part of the truck resulted in a mild shock and when I tried to pop the hood I received a painful shock from the latch... Nothing like this was going on with anybody else's truck, so I drove it home and touching the body still slightly shocked me, it was fine this morning and has been all day... Any ideas? Maybe it had something to do with the powerlines, but I've had electrical problems in the past and don't want to risk a fire...

Seen it happen. Hi-voltage(transport voltage) is over 100,000 volts and will leak thru the sheathing. It creates a electrical field around the lines. You truck body happens to act like a capacitor and will harness it. I've had the same thing happen before.
