Had the scanner read what was on and off while selecting different gears and with and without o/d. I didn't change the plug that goes through the trans case. Possible that using the 98 wiring harness burned out the pins in that plug?

The Shift & TCC Solenoid are the same on both 4R70W and 4R75W. The 1992-1997 Shift solenoid cannot be used on 98. But 98 going up are the same.

Are you sure when you replace the pump seal the piston bleed hole is positioned @ 12:00?

I changed the tc seal. Same one your talking about? No I didn't see anything on it that would need to be positioned a certain direction

I didn't have that apart. Only changed the seal that you tap in, in the front

Both trucks are 4.6 and I used the torque converter from the 99.

Have you tried using the 98 TC? Did you switch the Valve Body? 4R70W 93-97 Shift & TCC Solenoid is diferrent from 98-07. Try switching the TR Sensor & OSS sensor.

I did not have enough room to pull the tc all the way out. I did switch the valve body and harness. It is a 98 4r70w so I left the shift and tcc solenoid in. What is the tr sensor? Alright swapped the range sensor
