Valve Cover Bolts/Studs Locations
Hi All,
I've pulled both valve covers on my 2003 F-150 4.6L Windsor engine, but in my haste I trusted the manual which said "Valve cover bolts are meant to remain on the cover" so I didn't mark or note which were the "bolts" and which were the "studs"
Now that I'm replacing the covers, does anyone know which holes use the studs and which the bolts? For both sides if anyone has it would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Do you think I should demand the dealer look at the hubs apart to see the damage then replace the actuators? Do you think a lot of damage has been done? As soon as I hear the noise I select 4wd to reduce damage but not sure how much lasting damage has been done.

I have a 2015 F150 that started rough idling and sometimes dying when sitting at stop lights. Today the dealership said it's bad cam phasers and timing. Want $3,100 to fix it. This was my first Ford - and will be my last, since they can't seem to figure this problem out. I'm not going to throw 3 grand at this vehicle every few years for phasers and solenoids. Ford engineers need to figure this out. Guess I will be vehicle shopping this weekend and take whatever I can get on trade.
