USCAR socket populated?
I have a 2002 F-150 XL 4.6L with the standard 4 pin trailer plug on the rear bumper. Does anyone know it the USCAR socket above the spare tire has all the wires installed for a 7 blade harness.
I believe I will need a couple of relays installed. Any info on which ones?

Standard? 4 pin trailer plug
If a trailer tow package in 2002, you would have a 7 way plug
The harness should have what you need either way
Only the trailer tow packages have the relays, I believe.

Yes. You will have all the wiring there.
I popped a factory 4/7-pin in place of my flat 4-pin a few years back. Looks and acts like it belongs.
If memory serves correct, the relays are for trailer battery charge and…trailer backup lights.
All the fuses for braking and lights are already in place.
