Default U-joint tips

What should I know about replacing U-joint? Surely there is something weird. I'm pulling the driveshaft to grease the slip yoke, and at 200k I figured it would be a good time to do the joints as well. I plan on using the hammer or vice method, whichever works best.

If you've never replaced them before you might want a torch handy...had to heat and use a vise on mine.

Not sure if they have been or not...I always assume not before I start a project. The driveshaft is pretty rusty. I'll have the torch ready!

I haven't replaced them yet...but yes I did get moog. Not sure what you are referring to with the styles.

I wound up cutting mine out. Vice stopped working after so long. Make sure your vice or press is big enough

I took mine to the local machine shop. $15 a joint, they remove the old and install the new. Well worth it to me just to save the headache.
