Default Turbo 4.6

I have 2001 f150 supercab sport 4x4 model xlt and I plan to put a turbo from a 99 chevy one ton on it. I got it for free and it only has about 1000 miles on it so i'm gonna try to use it. Any tips or comments you have let me know what yo think!

The change-over will require major modification of the electronic engine control system and a complete re-plumbing of the exhaust and intake systems. Unless the turbo has an integral boost pressure control valve, a separate valve will need to be found as well.

Take a look at some Banks Performance kits to see what you're up against.

Notice that most of the installations use carburetted engines, not EEC.
