door ajar light stuck on

2000 f150 xlt 4x4, door ajar always on anyone have a sugestion on where to start to get it to work properly?

i had this problem then and i adjusted it there on the door where it locks when it closes they are three screws

ok i just had to replace the door ajar switches or door latch switch, about $35 for the two of them, i got them from auto zone. light went off after the instalation
