Default Trucks got the cancer :(

Debating what to do . Trucks got 251,000 miles on it and not sure how much green I want to put in body work on it .

Why not do like another on here is doing? He's buying a used 2wd and changing over the body. There are many clean 2wds which aren't being repaired when the engine go. Not a lot of value to the cost of engine replacing, so they get crushed or whatever. Of course this depends on where you live and how many trucks in your area. I bought a 2003 Kings Ranch last summer for 1400, needing a motor. They are out there, you just have to look and be patient. Just a thought.

At 251k I'd stick no money into it above and beyond what's required to keep it going and stopping.

Are there any 10th gens that don't have cancer? Certainly not here in the midwest.

Is their anything offered out there to cover it up ? Was thinking maybe getting some diamond plate and rolling it to fit over the rust . Paint it red to match the truck . Might look like **** though . Hell I don't no !

looks like you can patch that spot instead of replacing the the panel. to save money you could ask a shop to do everything except paint (would need primer), then just buy some rattle can bedliner and spray the rockers yourself.

Not that easy. Is around the back of the cab corner also. Whole cab corner has rust unfortunately
