so iv got a 2000 f150 v6 and i love it. it may not be a good puller but it does have some pep with no load. its perfect for me. any solutions on getting better mpg though? its getting about 15mpg average between e-way and rural...

has the fuel filter been changed recently? if not, swap in a new one.

K&N air filter. 10w30 oil good tire pressure. Just a couple of things.

Run a fuel system cleaner at a oil change location.. it runs a cleaner through your system to clean your entire fuel system to restore any lost power and mpg... I heard that wal-mart does it.. if they have the car care center.. usually runs between $20-$70 depending where and what you use..

Read were there is a reflash for the PCM the helps with the fuel milage. Check with your local Ford dealer.
