Default Truck wont idle any ideas?

Got out from work and started my truck and it right away died. Started it again and have to keep giving it gas or it just dies out. Any idea what it might be?

What have you done to it lately? Did you buy gas from someone besides your normal station? Try some gas treatment (that removes water) in your tank. More info would be helpful.

I can add this, the truck has been making a whistling sound right when I shut it off too and i haven't been able to locate it. Any connections?

Yes. IAC.

Start there. If that isn't it, report back.

Off to the Zone then to get a new IAC, it's a fairly easy fix right?

If you have small hands. I have difficulty getting at it with medium hands.
