My front end is locked, I took the actuator off and pushed the arm on the diff a 1/4 more and it unlocked, when I put the actuator back on it won't go far enough to let it unlock. I just tried 2 different actuators. Also last week I took the entire front diff out of the truck and checked the shift fork and it was fine, idk what else besides the arm on the diff being bent where the actuators arm is not long enough to let it unlock . What do y'all think?

I checked the tabs and they looked good , and I have the posi Lok and it won't even go over far enough to let it unlock I just tried it, giving some background on my truck I've broken 3 shift forks in the front end , I think something is messed up with the whole front diff

I have both the systems, I used the posi Lok about a year ago until I figured out my actuator issue and put the actuator back in and left the posi Lok ran but not hooked up, hence why I said I tried both systems

As of right now I have the arm on the shift fork shifted over to 2wd and held there until I figure out what is going on with my diff, looks like I will be pulling it out of the truck again

Posi-lock on the front end lol.
Fraid not. We have open differentials.

Posi lok is referring to the cable system to replace the 4wd acuator. I myself did it the easy way. I installed a Expedition A4WD front diff. No more vacuum system to rely on. Now just electrical which still drives me nuts.

S.S. Keep It Simple Stupid. Nothing to tear up or loose power or vacuum. Simple pull of a ****. Works flawlessly.
