Get this. Call it a day. No more shift problems. I promise.

What do y'all think?
is the arm easy to move? When you slid it in without the actuator I would grease it up see if it makes a difference

Also did you make sure the plastic fingers on the shift fork weren't worn while you had it disassembled?

I checked the tabs and they looked good , and I have the posi Lok and it won't even go over far enough to let it unlock I just tried it, giving some background on my truck I've broken 3 shift forks in the front end , I think something is messed up with the whole front diff

What are you calling posi lok? You said you removed the actuator. The two systems can't coexist.

I have both the systems, I used the posi Lok about a year ago until I figured out my actuator issue and put the actuator back in and left the posi Lok ran but not hooked up, hence why I said I tried both systems

As of right now I have the arm on the shift fork shifted over to 2wd and held there until I figure out what is going on with my diff, looks like I will be pulling it out of the truck again

Posi lok is referring to the cable system to replace the 4wd acuator. I myself did it the easy way. I installed a Expedition A4WD front diff. No more vacuum system to rely on. Now just electrical which still drives me nuts.

I love my mechanical cable. K.I
S.S. Keep It Simple Stupid. Nothing to tear up or loose power or vacuum. Simple pull of a ****. Works flawlessly.
