so i used to think it was just in my head. but it slowly got worse, and now its pretty bad. every morning, i get in my truck, pull onto the road, and as i accelerate, it seems to pop into neutral for a few seconds, then go back into drive. its a ridiculous nuisance. after about 30 minutes of driving, it will never do it until the next morning, i always assumed because the tranny fluid had warmed up. its a horrible nuisance, especially since when i dont catch it in time, it ends up slamming back into gear at 2k rpm.

me and people ive asked are pretty lost on this, does anyone have any idea what the cause of this could be?

*ive had people tell me "well it just means the tranny is going out", but i had it rebuilt a little over a year ago so im hoping there might be a more simple(and cheaper) solution. thanks

so.. i take it no one else has had this problem? if not, im thinking about blaming it on the guy who rebuilt my transmission.. lol
