Default Transponder issue

Ok. Here's the deal. Has new key made. My buddy brought over a IDS. Programmed new key. Truck still won't start. Looks like the transponder is not working at all. Has anyone had this issue?

It usually takes 2 keys in order to properly program them, you may have to go in with the ids and gain access to the pats which takes 10 minutes. I had this issue in a f450 at work and it took some time to get it to work.

The actual transponder that goes around the ignition cylinder may need to be replaced.

I did find a ground wire to the computer just hanging. I bolted it back on. So I'm thinking that maybe I didn't have enough voltage to the computer. I'm gonna retry one more time.

Anything is worth a shot. I would love to build a "simple" version of one of these trucks with very little electrical problems lol.

Last night I would of love to burn this truck to the ground lol. Still no start. My brother in law is gonna throw it on his tow truck tonight a take it to a Ford Electrical specialist in the morning that owes my father in law lots of favors. Electrical is my weak spot. My brother in law is awesome with it but we still couldn't figure it out.
