Default transplant!!!! :c

My 98 f150 is on the edge of dyeing therefore I'm wondering what the best engine option is I curently have a 5.4 4x4 .

I will end up rebuilding the original motor eventualy just not anytime soon

Right now I need an complete engine ,but I willl eventualy rebuilt the original motor

Find a used 5.4 without the COPs just to last you long enof to rebuild your current motor. I'm also assuming that you have the standard distributer with individual wires to each plug.
